About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at BMS EXCAVATING LTD. as a Construction Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and paving asphalt.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as concrete mixers and asphalt pavers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
