The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary within the Pay Band 16 range of $36,160 to $38,720 (3-step range).

Job Description

Promoting health and healing, our ideal candidate will work as a member of the healthcare team to provide education and achieve optimum care for clients/patients/residents in all phases of healthcare. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing holistic nursing care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients;
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans;
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care;
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma in practical nursing and active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS);
  • Leadership skills, with experience in supervising or mentoring others in a healthcare setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues;
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software applications used in healthcare settings;
  • A valid driver's license, where required;
Work Environment

This is a casual position, offering no guaranteed hours, but opportunities for flexible scheduling and varied shifts. As a member of our team, you will be expected to be available for short notice calls, stat shifts, and holidays, where applicable.
