As an Ocean Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods between departments, preparing and submitting reports, and resolving work problems. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, communicating with ships and remote operations, and following up on issues with work orders.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate activities with other work units or departments
* Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
* Perform routine clerical duties
* Prepare and submit reports
* Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
* Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
* Provide customer service
* Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations
* Follow-up on issues with work orders
* Keep track of shipments
* Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
* Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
* Organize and maintain inventory
* Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
