Job Description for Metal Fabrication Specialist

BHOGAL METAL WORKS INC is seeking a Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

  • We are looking for a skilled metalworker to join our production team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment as well as flame-cutting equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Responsibilities will include maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work independently.
  • Additional responsibilities will include handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks such as standing for extended periods.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the field and a strong understanding of the requirements of the job.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work conditions: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Standing for extended periods
  • Personal suitability: Flexibility, Punctuality, Hardworking
