Job Title: Content Creator for Digital Media

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Creator to join our team at J Dass Corp. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Vaughan, ON.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for various social media platforms, developing content strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement content strategies to align with brand goals and audience preferences;
  • Create high-quality video content for short-form (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form (YouTube) formats;
  • Edit raw footage into engaging, polished content optimized for each platform;
  • Work closely with marketing, design, and social media teams to ensure videos align with the brand voice and objectives;
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to drive maximum engagement and reach;
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop creative video ideas that align with trends, brand goals, and audience preferences;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a content creator, videographer, or video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form video work;
  • Expertise in video editing software and knowledge of editing techniques such as motion graphics, transitions, and audio editing;
  • Ability to shoot high-quality videos with professional equipment, including camera, lighting, and sound gear;
  • Strong understanding of current trends in viral video content and platform algorithms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.);
  • Creative mindset and problem-solving skills with a passion for storytelling and visual communication;
Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field would be an asset. Experience with graphic design or animation software, previous work in a viral video content environment, or digital media would also be beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
