We are seeking a Produce Department Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the RoleThe Produce Department Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the produce department, including merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and financial objectives. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve high levels of productivity and engagement.
- Lead and coach team members to maintain the highest standards of merchandise presentation, inventory management, and customer service.
- Resolve team member and customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a produce department management role.
- A thorough understanding of financials and proven track record of delivering on targets.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- An understanding of employment standards, WHMIS, food safety, and loss prevention practices.
- The ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve exceptional results.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
