Job Summary:
A compassionate and caring Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is sought after to join our multidisciplinary team at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver patient-centered care, utilizing a trauma-informed approach, to individuals struggling with addiction
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
* Conduct thorough assessments, including ECGs, venipuncture, urine drug screening supervision, and testing
* Administer medications, as delegated by a licensed physician, and monitor patient response
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, focusing on continuous learning and skill development
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care

Requirements:
* Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution
* Previous experience in addiction treatment or a related field
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Strong commitment to working with individuals living with addiction and mental health
* Proficiency in using Microsoft platform, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
