The Role

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Project Director to oversee the execution and delivery of large-scale integrated projects. You'll be responsible for day-to-day management of interdisciplinary teams, deliverables, and budgets on a portfolio of clients across various projects. Your deep understanding of how to work within an integrated agency structure will enable you to balance client and agency needs, driving tangible outputs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years of in-depth project management experience from an integrated agency or similar, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Project Leadership: Experience leading medium to large-scale projects from start to finish, working with strategy, creative, production, and media teams.
  • Collaboration Expertise: Ability to work with cross-functional internal and external teams, involving multiple clients and inter-agency touchpoints.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving deliverables and priorities, responding quickly to diagnose and correct project-related issues and proactively plan for contingencies.
  • Multitasking & Problem-Solving: Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to handle ambiguous situations and lead the project team in finding solutions.
  • Effective Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to smoothly handle numerous variables and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Financial Acumen: Tracking, analyzing, and reporting project financial health to internal management and senior client stakeholders.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal and client teams to fully understand and map out project tasks, dependencies, durations, and milestones, distilling requirements into SOWs.
  • Align integrated disciplines and schedules, manage, and adjust schedules and scopes throughout the project lifecycle as needed.
  • Build out budgets and ballparks for agreed-upon deliverables both independently and in consultation with team members.
  • Support business leaders with financial forecasting and management.
  • Conduct efficient meetings and ensure detailed agendas and meeting minutes are distributed to all parties.
  • Anticipate scope creep, identify potential issues, and support the project team in removing obstacles or blockers.
  • Suggest and implement solutions to mitigate risks and solve identified issues.
  • Monitor progress, measure project financial metrics, and report back to management, business leads, and client stakeholders.
  • Update project team members and clients on project activities, risks, and identified issues.
  • Manage integrated and cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand and communicate project objectives, scope, timing, and budget.
  • Present key project deliverables, schedules, and estimates to internal and external audiences.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience as a project manager in an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of managing priorities to produce top-notch deliverables in scope, on time, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse personalities with ease—a natural networker and self-motivated individual.

  • Proficient in timeline, resourcing, and project management software.
