**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Technical Mold Production Lead to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our injection molding facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance of the injection molding facility, including equipment such as Injection Molding Machines and associated auxiliary equipment.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and trades regarding advanced maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Maintain plastic injection molds and implement insert changes as necessary.
  • Hang and set molds in molding machines to a production-ready status.
  • Stay current on technical developments and changes.
  • Drive an injury-free environment and safe work culture within the molding department.
  • Liaise with different departments to deliver common goals, including QA, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Support a positive employee environment and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably with supervisory experience.
  • Cooperative, leadership, and team skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • An in-depth knowledge of engineering, equipment maintenance, and plastics processing.
  • Academic qualifications, diplomas, or degrees in support of practical experience.
  • Continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in an ISO9001:2008 certified company.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

 

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
