Job Title: Service Receptionist



Job Summary:



The Service Receptionist is a key role at Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless communication between customers and the service department.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Greeting and Directing Customers: Welcome customers upon arrival, answer incoming calls, and effectively direct them to the correct department or service advisor.
  • Phone Handling: Answer, direct, and handle general inquiries from callers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Communication: Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner, minimizing hold times and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Administration: Collect payments, issue receipts, prepare invoices, and record financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Cash Handling: Process cash payments, operate credit card machines, and reconcile cash registers and computer records at the end of each shift.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints with integrity and confidence, directing customers to service advisors or other relevant personnel as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and in-person conversations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the service department and other teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and manufacturer directives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, providing excellent service and representing Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver positively.
