Salary


The estimated salary for this position ranges from $39.20 to $46.12 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including experience, education, and performance related to this role.



Job Description


This Senior Electrical Systems Specialist is responsible for operating facility systems; performing preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems within the assigned facility.


The Technician will perform work in accordance with established processes and practices and comply with internal and external requirements, including environmental, health, and safety, fire protection.

Key Responsibilities


Subject to legislative licensing requirements and company policy:



  • Performs work according to established processes and practices
  • Complies with all internal and external requirements, including but not limited to environmental, health, and safety, fire protection
  • Provides observations about facility conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repair
  • Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment within the limits of company policy and trade certification
  • Monitors assigned facilities by conducting walkthroughs, mechanical, and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspection
  • Manages work order life cycle progressing the work form dispatched through to complete and records resolution data within service maintenance management database
  • Ensures work completed meets quality, contract response, and all other requirements


Requirements and Qualifications


To be considered for this position, you must have:



  • 3-5 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience
  • High school diploma plus trades training and certification or licensing
  • Advanced ability to adhere and execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance
  • Advanced ability to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment within the limits of certifications and policies
  • Advanced troubleshooting and resolution skills in order to determine and resolve building mechanical and electrical equipment and system issues
  • Current knowledge of fire, life, safety, and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standards
  • Possesses a strong environmental, health, and safety mindset and ability to perform work in a safe manner
  • Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency
  • Effective communication skills for data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification


Licenses and Professional Accreditation



  • Journeyman level Electrical license - Electrical Field Safety Representative (FSR)
  • Valid drivers' license
