Job Summary

The Maintenance Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing technical and preventative maintenance plans for our properties. This includes leading the efficiency of all operational activities within the maintenance department.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, high-rise building mechanical systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in property/facility maintenance field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety including WHMIS.
  • Must be flexible with working evenings, weekends, and on-call schedule as per needed.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing site inspections, developing reports, and improvement plans for managed properties.
  • Resolving outstanding open work orders that exceed 30 days.
  • Supervising department team members to perform accurate general, routine maintenance, minor repairs, fire safety, and scheduled servicing operations.
  • Providing training to new team members, including fire, life, and health safety.
  • Assisting with annual fire safety plan reviews, quarterly fire drills, and elevator testing.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
