Job Title: GSE Purchaser

Air Inuit is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GSE Purchaser to join our team at the Air Inuit Technical Center in Montreal-Trudeau airport.

Job Summary:

The GSE Purchaser will be responsible for maintaining the required inventory in Montreal and Nunavik, including the preparation and dispatch of work orders to the vehicle technicians. Additionally, the GSE Purchaser will assist the technicians with the acquisition of parts and consumables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Store and manage inventory in a clean and organized manner;
  • Process incoming requisitions and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies;
  • Maintain accurate records on the inventory control system;
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use;
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials;
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received;
  • Ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment;
  • Manage schedules and plan work for mechanics;
  • Communicate with outside vendors for follow-up on repairs;
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Background or knowledge of automotive, industrial, and heavy-duty aftermarket parts;
  • 5 years of applicable experience;
  • Ability to use various computer programs;
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Valid Class G Driver's License;
  • Forklift certification an asset;
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Bilingual.
