Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Fort St. John Hospital. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide compassionate patient care and work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to patients
• Work in accordance with the established vision and values of Northern Health, and in collaboration with our team, to provide high-quality care
• Operate in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

Shift Rotation/Hours of work
Days, 10:00 to 14:30 (Rotating)

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Current full practicing licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to operate related equipment
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
• Ability to deal effectively with others
