Job Summary:

Bruce Hyundai is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, advising on services and repairs, and ensuring the smooth flow of work in the service department.

About the Role:

  • Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing personalized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Listen to customers and ask relevant questions to understand the issues with their vehicle, ensuring accurate diagnoses and recommendations.
  • Advise customers on recommended automotive services and repair options, including costs and timeframes, to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Schedule automotive service appointments and follow up with customers as needed, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with the parts department and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs, streamlining the service process and minimizing delays.
  • Provide customers with regular updates on the status of their vehicles, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the service process.
  • Maintain accurate records of automotive services provided and ensure proper documentation is completed, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
  • Stay up-to-date on automotive products, services, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role, with a strong background in automotive services or sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient in computer and data entry skills, with experience in automotive service software and systems.
  • Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends, with a flexible schedule and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, with a clean driving history and a commitment to road safety.
