Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Pre-Inspector to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations of equipment through multipoint inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough evaluations of equipment through multipoint inspections.
  • Understand and implement U-Haul quality standards.
  • Diagnose and recommend courses of action (parts and labor).
  • Allocate necessary parts and labor on work orders for technicians.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs as needed.
Requirements
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools.
  • Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Estimated Salary

$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
