Job Title: Chief Development Strategist for Arts and Culture

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our Development Team as a Chief Development Strategist for Arts and Culture. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the growth and impact of the organization by devising and executing innovative philanthropic strategies.

About the Role
  • You will actively manage a portfolio of donors at various stages of their relationship with Luminato, developing tailored stewardship strategies to increase donor retention.
  • You will lead and implement an effective cultivation plan for building a pipeline of prospective individual donors and foundations.
  • You will lead regular face-to-face donor/prospect meetings to generate increased giving for Luminato.
About You

You will have a passion for philanthropy and the arts, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will be able to work collaboratively across the Development department and entire organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will be highly professional, with a high degree of personal integrity.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education and a minimum of 5 years experience in major gifts fundraising.
  • Professional development in fundraising.
  • Work experience in a charity environment, ideally in the arts.
