At Post Structures, we're seeking a skilled Rural Construction Specialist to join our team. As a full-time member, you'll be part of our close-knit crew working on farm and rural residential projects.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform physical labor and operate construction equipment safely and efficiently. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. This position also provides opportunities for growth and advancement within our stable company.

About the Job

In this role, you'll primarily be involved in physical labor on farm and rural residential projects. Your tasks will include tackling various construction tasks with enthusiasm, safely operating equipment, and working closely with your team to meet project milestones.

  • Tackle various construction tasks with enthusiasm.
  • Safely operate equipment such as earth compactors, elevating/mobile work platforms, and pneumatic tools.
  • Work closely with your team to meet project milestones and ensure top-notch work standards.

You'll be responsible for upholding safety protocols and regulations to keep our work environment secure. Maintaining open communication with supervisors and team members is also crucial to ensuring project goals are met.

Requirements
  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to job sites within approximately one hour of our POST Shop in Alma, ON (we offer per-kilometer travel reimbursement for distances greater than 35 kilometers from home).

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
