Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including machinery and tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, and fabricate new parts as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication and cleaning
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and repair equipment
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a related field
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automated and robotic system experience
  • Conveyor experience
  • Electrical and electronic controls experience
  • Fans and blowers experience
  • Hydraulic system experience
  • Industrial and stationary engine experience
  • Pneumatic system experience
  • Power tools experience
  • Pumps and compressors experience
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with a focus on safety and quality. The work will involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy machinery.
