As a Cook at Edo Japan Hillside, you will be responsible for preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in accordance with our menu and quality standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain our high standards of quality and service.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
- Sanitation and Cleaning: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Certifications and Specialties:
- Safe Food Handling: Maintain a Safe Food Handling certificate to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
- Culinary Specialties: Develop and maintain expertise in specific culinary areas, such as Teppanyaki or Japanese cuisine.
Work Environment:
- Urban Area: Work in a fast-paced urban environment, serving customers in a dynamic and ever-changing setting.
- Fast Food Outlet or Concession: Work in a fast food outlet or concession setting, providing quick and efficient service to our customers.
