Job Overview:

The Site Services Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of janitorial services at designated sites, adhering to contract specifications and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning operations, promptly addressing additional service requests or building inspections as needed.
  • Develop and implement weekly schedules for cleaning staff, submitting them to management for review and approval.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality control standards.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, addressing concerns and special requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual obligations are met.
  • Lead and manage cleaning supervisors and staff, fostering a productive work environment and ensuring adherence to established procedures and schedules.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, coordinating job openings and hiring processes with HR personnel as necessary.
  • Manage equipment and vehicle maintenance, prioritizing preventive and ongoing upkeep to minimize disruptions in service.
  • Implement and enforce the company's Health and Safety program at the site, updating the H&S board with new policies or content as required.
  • Deliver required training to meet legislative and contractual requirements, including cleanroom protocols, and provide regular refresher training as needed.
  • Collect measurable data to track service quality and staff performance via 'Coach and Counsel' Forms or the 'Domus App'.
  • Manage site materials and product inventory, ensuring monthly order processing is completed and product usage remains within budget.
  • Submit detailed 'Service Requests' to clients for any identified facility deficiencies, specifying location and nature of the problem.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing cleaning services in commercial or institutional settings.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct thorough inspections and report on performance.
  • Experience in inventory and budget management.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software for tracking and managing services.
  • Experience in budgeting, work loading, and cost controls.
  • Commitment to delivering best-in-class service.

Working Conditions:

This full-time position requires site presence and occasional travel to the company head office for management meetings.

Estimated Salary:

$40,000 - $50,000 per annum, plus annual bonus eligibility up to 5% of annual salary.
