About the Role

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled Project Risk Management Consultant to join our team in North York, ON. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing project risks to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in project risk management, ideally within civil infrastructure or construction project environments. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate risk workshops and meetings, conduct regular reviews of risk registers, and perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Facilitate risk workshops and meetings to identify, assess, prioritize, and strategize responses to project risks. Maintain and update the Project Risk Register accordingly.
  • Risk Management Practices: Support project teams in developing and maintaining project risk management practices, including creating risk registers, developing risk profiles, and establishing confidence levels for specific project outcomes.
  • Risk Analysis and Reporting: Conduct regular reviews of risk registers with the project team across various project stages to ensure effective risk identification, assessment, and management, providing consistent updates to project managers.
  • Quarterly Risk Reports: Compile and present quarterly risk reports to project managers, summarizing key insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in Project Risk Management, ideally within civil infrastructure or construction project environments.
  • Technical Skills: Practical experience reviewing technical project documents (e.g., drawings, design basis, schedules, estimates) to identify potential risks.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Preferred certifications include Risk Management Professional (RMP) by PMI or similar credentials from AACE or other industry leaders.
Compensation and Benefits
