We are seeking an experienced Senior Food Services Coordinator to join our team at KAR Foods Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise their work to maintain quality control standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food meets quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure prompt service.
  • Establish work schedules for staff to meet operational needs.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in a senior food services role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field (not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with basic security clearance and bondable requirements.
