Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Arirang Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality meals.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure our staff have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to minimize waste and ensure we have the necessary resources.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards for quality and safety.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Support for Diversity and Inclusion: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Language: English

Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week
