The Position

This Senior Manager role plays a key part in helping the industry tackle benefits fraud collaboratively and grow Anti-Fraud programs. Reporting to the Vice President, Anti-Fraud, you'll develop and implement strategies for detecting, preventing, and deterring benefits fraud, while also promoting member-based marketing and publications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Member Management: Stay up-to-date on benefit fraud key issues and opportunities affecting members and the broader industry, keeping current on member company practices, government policies, and the anti-fraud environment.
  • Advocacy and Stakeholder Management: Engage with members, colleagues, regulators, government representatives, and law enforcement on advocacy issues, preparing submissions, briefings, and relevant documents to advance the industry's interests.
Requirements
  • University Degree: A related field degree with 5-7 years of experience in life and health insurance benefits and fraud management.
  • Relevant Industry Accreditations: Possess relevant accreditations in the field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Team Player: Proven experience working collaboratively with small departmental management teams.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated at $90,000 - $120,000 per year, including a comprehensive benefits package, including prescription, dental, and paramedical benefits, a defined contribution pension plan with employer matching, and three weeks paid vacation.
