Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fashion Merchandiser to join our team at Manji Trading Inc. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring adequate stock levels, and selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
  • Review sales data and market trends to determine product requirements and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and products.
  • Check products for quality and specifications to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in fashion merchandising or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 30-44 hour workweek. Public transportation is available.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
