We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at Sunger Concrete Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and finishing of concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
- Assist in demolishing buildings and structures as part of the construction process.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of construction equipment.
- Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work outdoors in a dusty and hot environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Our team works outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including dust and heat. The successful candidate must be able to adapt to these conditions and maintain a high level of productivity.
