Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Cherrie and Mark Abiad. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Work Environment

Our home is a non-smoking environment, and you will be working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free space.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable living space.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized space.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized space.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Repetitive tasks and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are required for this position.
  • Punctuality, dependability, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
