Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ontario Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department, directing and controlling daily operations, and evaluating daily operations to ensure they meet the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate HR activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Direct and control daily operations to optimize efficiency
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed effectively
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to streamline operations
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure smooth communication
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages to maintain effective communication
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform decision-making
  • Answer electronic enquiries to provide timely support
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to inform business decisions
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked office
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas to provide excellent customer service
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy
  • Perform data entry to maintain accurate records
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial accuracy

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1 year of experience in a related field

Work Environment:

  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 30 hours per week
