Lead, Bioethics and Diversity Specialist

This is a senior leadership role within the Ethics Services Team at Fraser Health. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in bioethics and at least three years of experience in a complex regulatory healthcare environment.
About the Role- Leverage expertise to develop and deliver high-quality training programs in ethics and diversity, ensuring alignment with Fraser Health's Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitments.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement education workshops, events, and activities across various departments as needed.
- Promote ethical practices by working closely with department leadership to enhance the Fellowship Program annually and contribute to national standards for fellowship programs through the Canadian Bioethics Fellowship Community of Practice.
- Develop and lead the annual 'Making Ethics Real' bioethics training program, including course material creation, instructor recruitment, CPD accreditation, participant selection, and evaluation.
- Coordinate the regional ethics fellowship program, including advertising, fellow recruitment, curriculum development, content delivery, and relationship management between fellows and supervisors.
- Create opportunities for graduates to find employment in bioethics fields and support their ongoing ethics development through quarterly workshops and connections to learning resources.
- Oversee the Ethics Champions program, guiding select graduates to advocate for ethics tools and participate in organizational activities.
- Deliver education sessions on ethics and diversity topics and participate in departmental ethics-related activities as assigned.
- Master's degree in bioethics or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least three years of experience in a complex regulatory healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, strong conceptual understanding of ethics and diversity, and excellent project management skills.
