The Role:

We are seeking a talented Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR function for our client groups. The successful candidate will perform a range of HR administrative and coordinating duties, including day-to-day support for benefits administration, health and safety, disability management, HR Compliance, vendor correspondence, and special project support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional employee experiences by managing day-to-day inquiries for benefits, health and safety, leave of absence, and related areas.
  • Administer benefits enrolment, changes, terminations, invoicing, reconciliation, administration, and general inquiries.
  • Coordinate with our 3rd party leave management vendors to ensure accurate service levels, reporting, data tracking, communication, and employee follow-up.
  • Assist with research and response preparation for basic legislative inquiries and/or claims.
  • Support HR leadership through active participation in meetings and other project assignments.
  • Identify emerging issues or trends and escalate for HR Implementation and Compliance Manager.
  • Support regular audits of internal processes and records to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Disability Management, or equivalent work experience. Postgraduate diploma or certificate in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience, ideally in retail, sales, or multi-unit operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
  • High level of personal integrity and a positive, supportive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently with support.

Location:

Mississauga office, with hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days weekly).
