Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at the Magic Years Child Care Centre. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of daycare equipment and facilities.
  • Assist experienced educators in planning and implementing engaging activities, including storytelling, singing, and craft preparation.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, such as proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare nutritious snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meal and rest periods.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and address any challenges that may arise.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
