About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Carpenter Helper at Planet Wood Exteriors Ltd. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced carpenters.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to ensure efficient operation.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and be exposed to dust and other environmental hazards.
