Job Summary
">We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our team at River Ridge l Retirement Residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
About the Role
">This is a casual position that requires providing personal care and services to residents. As an HCA, your primary responsibility would be to provide basic life skills training and support to ensure the highest quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and services to each resident, including bathing, dressing, and grooming">
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility">
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals">
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors">
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and incidents">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
">- ">
- A current Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate">
- Genuine interest in and concern for seniors">
- Experience in retirement or long-term care desirable">
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment">
- Ability to learn and apply basic life skills through on-the-job training">
- Must be available to work weekends">
- Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine">
