AutoCanada Collision Centres is seeking a Regional Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Collision Centres.

The successful candidate will assist in the management of accounting and financial reporting operations, providing accurate information to Management, including analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports.

Key responsibilities include managing accounting operations, reviewing financial statements, monitoring actual vs forecast results, and communicating budget status to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Commerce or Master's degree in accounting, Designated as a Chartered Professional Accountant, and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.

Previous experience in an accounting oversight role, building and mentoring a strong team, and knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS GAAP) and operational accounting are essential.

The Regional Controller will work closely with the Chief Controller, VP Collision Centres, and Collision Centres Directors of Operations to ensure all financial and accounting needs are met and relevant analysis is performed.

The Regional Controller will be responsible for ensuring all Collision Centres accounting departments comply with Home Office accounting policies, controls, reporting timelines, and procedures.

They will also assist various functions of the Finance team on matters such as working capital and cash-flow management (Treasury), as well as follow-up on audit-related matters requiring attention (Financial Reporting).

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful individual with expert excel skills and highly skilled in other standard office software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

They will have experience working with CaseWare and be available to travel up to 30% of the time and work outside normal business hours to collaborate with teams in different time zones.
