Job Description

This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, small business environment where your input will make a difference. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing and Inputting Financial Data: Assist in organizing and inputting financial data into QuickBooks, including expenses, revenues, and other transactions.
  • Reconciling Bank Statements: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Preparing Financial Reports: Support in preparing and maintaining financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist with budget tracking and expense categorization.
  • End-of-Month Closing Processes: Participate in end-of-month and end-of-year financial closing processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Accounting or Related Field Education: Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with a focus in accounting or related field, in your 4th year, or have recently graduated in an accounting or related field.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Motivation and Dependability: Highly motivated and dependable, with the ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
