Job Title: Recruitment Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Manager to join our team at Emterra Group. As a Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the hiring process across Ontario. This includes creating standard job descriptions and interview guides, designing and implementing recruiting procedures, supervising the Ontario recruitment team, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures
  • Lead, motivate, and grow the recruiting team
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics
  • Introduce new sourcing methods
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
  • Coach and assist hiring managers on interviewing, onboarding, and retention techniques
  • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Stay up to date on labor legislation and inform internal stakeholders about changes in regulations
  • Participate in job fairs and career events
  • Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partnerships
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years as a Recruitment Professional with at least 1 direct report
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, in manufacturing or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Recruitment Software, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HR databases
  • Working knowledge of labor legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools
  • Experience in Staffing and Recruitment companies is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
  • Experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs as it pertains to recruitment is considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • College Diploma or University degree in a relative field
