We are a dynamic organization seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and performing various accounting tasks.

Job Requirements

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of work

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. This includes calculating fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing trial balance of books.

Payroll and Accounting Tasks

The successful applicant will also be responsible for preparing cheques for payroll, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts. In addition, they will prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.

Work Environment

The role involves working in an urban area with public transportation available. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks is essential.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This estimate is subject to change and may vary depending on location and other factors.
