At Rogers Communications, Inc., we're looking for an exceptional Senior Enterprise Architect to drive our technology roadmap and shape the future of our organization. As a key member of our Technology team, you will play a critical role in defining and driving the roadmap and target architecture for key BSS, OSS, HR and ERP domains and capabilities. Your expertise will guide design decision-making, enabling us to stay ahead of the curve and deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the target architecture & roadmap for BSS, OSS, ERP, HR domains to support the business strategy.
  • Analyze the current IT landscape, detect critical deficiencies, and build gap analysis to drive the technology roadmap.
  • Lead identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends and provide technical leadership in vendor selection initiatives (RFI/RFQ/RFPs).
  • Develop relationships with business stakeholders, product managers, and delivery teams to build the technology roadmap.
  • Communicate the technology roadmap to stakeholders at different levels of the IT and business organizations.
  • Develop internal architectural standards and patterns and communicate them across solution architects, tech leads, and developers.
  • Lead architecture review boards and govern the implementation of architectural principles and practices.
  • Provide strategic technical direction across value streams and ARTs to ensure the organization can take advantage of emerging opportunities while responding to and mitigating threats.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline (required).
  • 5 to 10 years of Solution or Enterprise Architecture experience in a large enterprise IT, preferably in telecommunications.
  • A strong understanding of Business Support Systems (BSS), including CRM, Order Management, HR and ERP systems.
  • A strong understanding and experience in Microservices architecture and cloud native solutions.
  • A strong understanding of common architecture frameworks and information models such as TM Forum Frameworx (Open API, TAM, eTOM, SID) or Zachman, TOGAF.
  • Strong decision-making, consensus building and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills both in person and written, ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • A keen and demonstrated interest in learning opportunities to further develop self and community.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and business environments.

Full time, Day shift, Brampton, ON. Up to 10% travel required.
