Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Le Citadin 2022 I.N.C. in an urban facility setting.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  2. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  3. Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly.
  4. Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  5. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
  6. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  7. Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
  8. Perform safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
  9. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  10. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair as necessary.
  11. Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a pleasant outdoor environment.
  12. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to ensure a high level of hygiene.
  13. Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering excellent results.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance or related role is required.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully is required.
  • The physical demands of this role include repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent oral communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous paid time off policy.

Please note that we require candidates to have previous experience in this field of employment and to be legally able to work in Canada.
