Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Pricing Strategist to join our team at Foresters Financial Services, Inc.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires expertise in product pricing, risk management, and leadership. As a Senior Pricing Strategist, you will lead the development of innovative product solutions, ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards, and leverage your experience and knowledge to contribute to product initiatives.

You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Foresters Financial products, preparing clear and effective written communication, and providing actuarial support for implementation and regulatory filing work. Additionally, you will represent Foresters in 3rd-party relationships, oversee procurement of reinsurance, and support responses to inquiries requiring Pricing guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a Fellowship in the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries, excellent communication skills, and strong knowledge of Moody's AXIS and Microsoft Excel. They will also possess an innovative mindset, ability to think critically about individual and team SWOTs, and manage multiple projects with varying levels of involvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of innovative product solutions in support of Foresters Financial Purpose.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Foresters Financial products, including design and risk profile.
  • Prepare clear and effective written communication, including documentation, analysis, and presentations.
  • Provide actuarial support for implementation and regulatory filing work.
  • Represent Foresters in 3rd-party relationships.
  • Oversight of procurement of reinsurance.
  • Support responses to inquiries requiring Pricing guidance.
Requirements
  • Fellowship in the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Moody's AXIS and Microsoft Excel.
  • Innovative mindset.
  • Ability to think critically about individual and team SWOTs.
  • Manage multiple projects with varying levels of involvement.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and location.
