Job Description:

Executive Director, Financial Services

You will oversee a team of 65 professionals in key departments, including Assessment Services, Asset Management, Customer Care & Support, Financial Services, and Information Technology. As Executive Director, you'll lead the division to achieve Rocky View County's long-term goals, fostering an innovative and responsive approach to public service.

Your Impact

  • Drive Strategic Vision and Leadership: Lead the Financial Services Division to achieve Rocky View County's long-term goals.
  • Promote Operational Excellence: Oversee all financial and administrative functions within the division.
  • Ensure Fiscal Responsibility and Sustainability: Manage all financial planning and budgeting processes.

We're Looking For

We're seeking an inclusive, strategic leader who can bring fresh perspectives, champion diversity, and implement innovative solutions to meet the needs of our residents. Passionate about public stewardship and community impact. Collaborative and engaging with exceptional relationship-building skills. A Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred) and 10+ years of senior leadership experience are required. Background in Finance or IT (preferred), with certifications in Local Government Management or Administration. Proven expertise in budget management, financial planning, and policy development.
