Rogers, a leading communications and media company, seeks a skilled Regional Business Development Specialist to join its team in Calgary, AB. As a key player in driving business growth, you will be responsible for augmenting existing relationships in the Midwest region, effectively partnering with the Account Executive team to provide support and maximize sales opportunities.
With 3-5 years of experience in B2B/B2C sales and/or account specialist or support positions, you will bring a proven ability to use sales and customer service skills to build customer relationships. Your self-motivated, results-oriented approach, combined with excellent communication and project management skills, will enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive revenue growth.
This is a full-time position, requiring up to 10% travel. You will work in a hybrid environment, spending three days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Rogers' GPON technology and the new construction build process, as well as an in-depth knowledge of Rogers' cable footprint.

Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as health and dental coverage, pension plan, RRSP matching, and stock options, as well as generous employee discounts and leadership development opportunities.
In this role, you will cultivate relationships with existing non-partner property owners and managers, secure new access and marketing agreements, and ensure Salesforce is updated for new construction opportunities. You will also coordinate with Sales and Planning teams on showhome scheduling, set up complimentary accounts, and activate internet hubs for NHC Showhomes.
We value diversity and inclusion at Rogers, creating environments that empower our people to bring their whole selves to work. We recognize the business value in removing barriers for equal participation and strive to create a workplace where each team member has the tools to reach their full potential.
