Hawkesbury General Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join its team. As a key member of the radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging techniques for adult patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out complete investigations using ultrasound machines, collecting optimal observations, images, and videos for radiologists and medical specialists to establish diagnoses or treatment plans.
  • Work effectively as an active member of the healthcare team, providing preliminary reports to radiologists and utilizing McKesson PACS and Powerscribe systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to a dynamic clinical environment.

Requirements

  • DMS Membership with the C.M.R.I.T.O. (College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario)
  • Experience in diagnostic ultrasound
  • Working knowledge of both official languages
  • Ability to work effectively as an active member of the healthcare team
