Job Description:

  • We are seeking a reliable and hardworking construction labourer to join our team at DELTA BUILDERS LTD.

About the Role:

  • This is an entry-level position that requires physical labor, heavy lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • You will also assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • In addition, you will level earth to fine grade specifications, demolish buildings, clean up chemical spills, remove rubble, and tend or feed machines used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites and perform routine maintenance work.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in construction or related field is an asset.
  • You must be physically fit, able to lift up to 30 lbs (13.5 kg), and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A valid driver's license is not required but may be beneficial for transportation of equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • You must be flexible, reliable, and a team player.

Work Environment:

  • The role involves working outdoors, which may include exposure to heights, underground work, and noisy environments.
  • The work setting is fast-paced and physically demanding.
  • The ideal candidate will have manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and sound discrimination.

Benefits:

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
