Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant to Vice President will provide high-level administrative support to the Vice President and contribute to the overall success of Brightshores. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively as a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely agendas, minutes, and action summaries.
  • Prepare and edit reports, newsletters, and other correspondence.
  • Manage concurrent tasks and unexpected demands, while prioritizing a changing workload.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary office administration program and one to three years of administrative experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a health care environment.
  • Knowledge of meeting and committee process and procedures.
  • Ability to travel to other sites as required.
