Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms efficiently
  • Process group arrivals and departures with attention to detail
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including points of interest in the area
  • Exchange foreign currency for guests
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments accurately
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms diligently
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments up-to-date
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures at all times
  • Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages promptly
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs professionally
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay
Experience and Specialization:
  • Proficiency in multi-line switchboard operations
  • Familiarity with word processing software and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of internet applications and Opera software
  • Experience with MS Outlook and Jonas Software
