Role and Responsibilities


You will work closely with various manufacturing departments and business units to understand their processes and needs. Your task will be to plan key milestones for projects that require manufacturing operations based on key constraints and production parameters.


The Master Planner will play a key role in relation to the various business units, working closely with them to ensure their expectations are met and to build trust. You will be responsible for assisting in the collection of data and performing detailed analysis to ensure alignment with different stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Create and align project schedules considering overall constraints while ensuring a level-loaded plan.
  • Prepare analyses to facilitate decision-making and manufacturing execution upstream to secure production milestones and the demand plan, such as requirements for external capacity support.
  • Suggest and implement solutions to improve processes.
  • Lead multiple meetings with project teams to establish realistic production plans.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure performance.
  • Support strategic programs upstream to ensure all execution requirements are established and met.
  • Bridge the required information with bids and cost teams when necessary.
  • Get involved in the S&OP process and bring suggestions for opportunities to ensure that the required inventory and supply chain are adequate to support the demand.

Requirements



  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or business.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with an integrated management system, preferably ORACLE.
  • At least three to five years of relevant experience or training in the field.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical and non-technical instructions and deal with several concrete and abstract variables at once.
  • Excellent communication skills.
