Job Summary: First Hire inc. is seeking a skilled welder and fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom fabrication and a strong understanding of welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Bond metal using brazing or soldering machines.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
