Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Building Technician to join our team in Longueuil – Montréal or Laval. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing building systems, including ventilation, plumbing, heating/cooling, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop building systems, including ventilation, plumbing, heating/cooling, and fire protection systems;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget;
  • Conduct site inspections and participate in project meetings to ensure quality and safety standards are met;
  • Develop and maintain technical documents and reports;
  • Estimate costs and develop project schedules;
  • Participate in the development of project proposals and presentations;
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures;
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical Building Technology or related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit modeling software;
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations, including CNB and ASHRAE standards;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
  • Fluency in English is an asset.
